I feel so badly about not loving this book. I want to. I keep reading it over, trying to determine what it is that doesn't work for me and trying to make it work for me. There's a distance to the poetry, a disconnect of sorts. I want more of Coretta Scott. It is a tribute though, so my expectations might be all wrong.

The illustrations are gorgeous.
